I've been writing again, and that's been good. Like slipping into an old skin. Comfortable. Here we go...back to the beginning... Sorting When you hear the poets on the radio You will think I should write something About What doesn’t change No matter who you marry Or how you love them Or why How the memory of that first airport embrace Lingers And is still yours to cherish Even after all this time. You will love some differently than others No one tells you this. You will love for new reasons And old longings You will love for safety and for courage You will love wholeheartedly And you will love for memory’s sake I promise you, this is true.
