Sitting here now, the advice I'd probably give would be as follows:

It goes by so very quickly. Don't miss all the beautiful little things. And don't assume, whatever you do, that they'll be around forever.

Don't be afraid if it bothers you to your core that so many people say so many things about God that are 100% incorrect. Or are partly correct, but way too wordy. Don't think it makes you less of a follower because you can't say those same holy words aloud. Be who you were made to be. Stop judging yourself so harshly, and let God be exactly who He is, not who anyone else has made Him out to be.

Stop blaming God when He's not at fault. Stuff will happen to you, and if you hold God responsible for everything, you'll be so angry you won't want him anymore. I speak from experience. I'm standing on the other side.

Stop blaming yourself, too. You're a human. You make choices and sometimes you make mistakes and sometimes things just are what they are. Extend this same courtesy of thought to others as well.

Sometimes things just are what they are. Do what you can, and don't forget to breathe.

I'm very nearly off to Connecticut.

(It looks so much different than I thought it would.)
