Today is the day that I chose to select the books I'd be taking with me. Some I chose because they're favorites, others I chose because I thought my new charges might like them, still more I chose because I hadn't read them yet.
But some, just some, a very few, but very heavy few, I chose for the simple reason that I like living in the same rooms they do. I might not read them while I am away; in fact, I'm fairly certain I won't. But when I walk into my room, they'll be there. And I'll be glad for it.
