Last night at Jason's Christmas party, someone told me I looked ravishing. Someone else told me I looked hot, and the general consensus was "foxy!" but I liked ravishing best. It was fun to be ravishing.
I've been incredibly busy lately, so today I've given myself permission to stay in pajamas all day long, except for when I go for my run, which will be later, but not too much later. The apartment is a disaster, and will likely stay that way until later tonight, but I'm getting so much else accomplished that I hardly mind. I'm hoping to get a lot more photos processed, printed, and backed up today, with the goal being to be done with everything that I've downloaded this year by the end of the week. I'm in the middle of October right now. I don't have a lot of evening activities planned this week, so it shouldn't be a problem. I also have nothing planned tomorrow except running and church (which--surprise! --i'm actually attending since I have to serve communion). I should be able to make serious dents in all my lists if I can just keep at it. And I think I can just keep at it, because it will be such a relief to be done.
Oh, by the way, Jared White, if you're reading, you were right about the French press being the best way to make coffee. Hands down, the most delicious coffee I've ever drunk has been made in my new cute little French press. I am quite grateful to all the folks who gifted me with Starbucks gift cards for my birthday ($70 worth total! wow!), which allowed me to purchase what is now my lifeline, for I am busy and tired and boy does drinking the whole press-full of coffee give me a boost. Anyway... All that to say: French press! Coffee! Deliciousness!
I also got a new sugar bowl since I'll be making and drinking more coffee at home. It's very cute, and it's the one I've been complaining costs too much, but really? $5.99 is not too much for a very cute sugar bowl.
So. Back to the lists and the photo processing and the prints and heaven help me, I think I might be so productive that I'll pass out from delight.
