&&Grey skies are gonna CLEAR UP! Do you love it when I sing to you and I don't know all the words? I was trying to be very enthusiastic in order that it might be ever-so-entertaining and uplifting to your downtrodden winterized soul. Which is not to say that you all have cold souls, merely that the diminished daylight and colder temperatures may render you a bit gloomy. Or not. Personally, I love the snow, but it has been a bit of a hassle what with Jack going to a normal school that has snow days and me not getting out to run (due to temperatures that would inspire frostbite on Wednesday and a packed schedule yesterday and today) but still eating a bunch of miniature Butterfingers. I feel a little...full. The energy is clambering to get out, and the only way I can release it at this point is through song. I have an extra job to work tonight, but after that I'm home free and ready for the Saturday Sleep-In, which is taking the place of the Sunday Sleep-In because I need to run both days, but I have to be somewhere far-ish away by 1pm on Sunday, thus the schedule adjustment. On Saturday the only place I have to be is Todd's Christmas party, and that's not until 6:30pm or something (guess I'll have to check the invite on that one, huh?). I'm hoping not only to fit in the Saturday Sleep-In and a long run in the snow, but also a trek via bus to get more yarn. We'll see. I'm allowing Saturday to unfold however it likes to, so long as I end up exerciesed and beautified in time for Todd's party. Sunday may be a little bit of a stretch, but I think I'll manage. All that to say: Happy Weekend. Or something. Let's take this one out with a song: &&You've got to AC-CEN-tuate the positive and E-LI-minate the negative and LATCH ON to the affirmative, don't mess with Mr. Inbetween! No, don't mess with Mr. Inbetween! NO, DON'T MESSSSS with MIIIISSSSTTEEERRRR IIIIINNNNN BEEEEETWEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!&& (How's that for a big finish?) 2005-12-09 - 2:48 p.m.
